About Chasing Alice project: Chasing Alice is a spring/summer collection inspired by Alice Liddell. The extensive research on Alice from books and documentaries to trips to Oxford enabled me to understand the true character of the child behind the story and why she had such a great impact on Lewis Carroll. Alice was like no other child. She had an angelic face, rebellious personality and curiosity for life that encouraged her to explore the world around her. Alice was a dreamer who Lewis Carroll wished never grew up and remained a child at heart. I found this little girl very amusing and based my portfolio project around her.
